So often the women I see are people who refuse to take time for themselves. Many spend their whole lives giving to children, partners, ageing parents, work etc. All to the detriment of their own needs and wellbeing. The fact is, sometimes you need to put yourself first and prioritise your needs, particularly, if you want to lose weight and follow a healthy lifestyle.
Just notice how most slim women prioritise eating well and healthily, exercising regularly, and reducing stress―all of which are essential to staying slim. It’s about balancing your responsibilities to others with ensuring that you take care of yourself.
When my clients grasp this concept and ditch the guilt of seizing time for themselves, they are amazed to realise that the solution to weight control is inside them. NOT in some magic potion, pill or fad diet that their mate on Facebook is on, but, WITHIN THEMSELVES.
